Core academic excellence

We offer a robust curriculum designed to provide a strong foundation in essential subjects. Children in our program will engage in a variety of exciting learning experiences each day:

  • Language Arts (K–5): Core Knowledge Language Arts with All About Reading phonics.
  • Language Arts (6–12): Literature studies, writing, grammar, vocabulary, essays, and classic literature.
  • Math: Singapore Math is currently our leading curriculum choice, known for its deep understanding approach.
  • Science (K–8): Mystery Science for hands-on learning and STEM exploration.
  • Science (9–12): CK-12 resources for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science.
  • History & Social Studies: Core Knowledge history and geography with timelines, biographies, and discussion-based learning.

Our goal at Someplace Special Micro School is to create a calm, supportive, relationship-centered environment with strong academics, individualized instruction, creativity, and hands-on learning opportunities for every student.

Our enrichment programs include:
